La volta a la Mata de Val\u00e8ncia ens permet gaudir d\u2019un indret meravell\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<p>La pujada no es fa pesada, si es pren amb la calma que es mereix el cam\u00ed. Personalment acostumo a gaudir de cada instant, sovint escoltant el sonor repic del picot que insistentment intenta foradar el tronc d\u2019un arbre, el repetitiu cant de la mallerenga petita, i d\u2019altres ocells com el raspinell o el pica-soques blau. A red\u00f3s del Pui, el cam\u00ed flanqueja el bosc, l\u2019avetosa s\u2019enretira i les pedres esberlades pel gel, formen nombroses tarteres sota les canals del gran mass\u00eds. El riu de Cabanes a la primavera, baixa brau i cabal\u00f3s. Al guanyar al\u00e7ada, es perceben paratges excepcionals.<\/p>\n<p>Roquissars ca\u00f2tics, hereus de la for\u00e7a de les glaceres que varen modelar el relleu; preludi d\u2019un cam\u00ed de retorn, curull d\u2019avets altius que desprenen la flaire de la seua oleoresina en un dia pluj\u00f3s de tardor, evocant aquell temps en qu\u00e8 les trementinaires extreien amb una esquella el producte que m\u00e9s tard vendrien com a remei guaridor de mals bronquials.
