David Le Breton \u00e9s un dels principals \u201cculpables\u201d, potser el que m\u00e9s, del sorgiment del qu\u00e8 gaireb\u00e9 es podria qualificar com a g\u00e8nere literari: efectivament, les obres al voltant del caminar, siguin de nova creaci\u00f3, siguin reedicions de cl\u00e0ssics del segles XVIII i XIX (o del XIV, com La ascenci\u00f3n al Mont Ventoux<\/em>, de Petrarca), han experimentat un aut\u00e8ntic boom des de la publicaci\u00f3 de la versi\u00f3 castellana del seu Elogio del caminar<\/em>, el 2011. Una prova fefaent: aquest mateix butllet\u00ed porta 92 n\u00fameros recomanant llibres caminaires i la cosa pot durar encara temps, ni que a partir de dem\u00e0 la censura prohib\u00eds editar nous llibres sobre el tema (coses m\u00e9s estranyes s\u2019han vist…).<\/p>\n

Le Breton, antrop\u00f2leg i soci\u00f2leg, professor de la Universitat d\u2019Estrasburg, tamb\u00e9 va publicar el 2012 Marcher.<\/em>\u00a0\u00c9loge des chemins et de la lenteur<\/em> (publicat en castell\u00e0 per una editorial argentina i que no ha arribat a les nostres mans) i ara tanca, de moment, una trilogia amb aquest Caminar la vida. La interminable geografia del caminante<\/em><\/strong>, editat com el primer per Siruela.<\/p>\n

Quant al contingut, res de nou. Tot i que, sense matisacions, pot semblar una frase pejorativa, no ho \u00e9s pas. Senzillament, ens referim a que l\u2019enfocament \u00e9s similar al de la seva obra inicial, que tant ens va agradar. Aix\u00ed, torna a ser una declaraci\u00f3 a favor del caminar, no cal dir-ho, i de la lentitud, tamb\u00e9 com a ter\u00e0pia, en un context que ens arrossega cada vegada m\u00e9s al sedentarisme i a la tecnologia.<\/p>\n

Per a la consecuci\u00f3 de l\u2019objectiu s\u2019ajuda de nombroses refer\u00e8ncies liter\u00e0ries dels habituals Thoreau, Rousseau, Stevenson, Matthiessen (i unes desenes m\u00e9s d\u2019autors il\u00b7lustres), de sentencies que fan gastar el llapis a base de subratllats i de diverses informacions que ens desperten la curiositat. Per exemple, una breu menci\u00f3 a Richard Long, un escultor brit\u00e0nic que el 1967 va parir una obra (A line made by walking) caminant durant tot un any per la mateixa tra\u00e7a en un camp i creant d\u2019aquesta manera un nou sender. Evidentment, aix\u00f2 ens ha portat a buscar r\u00e0pidament el resultat (veure foto).<\/p>\n

Un altre element fonamental del llibre \u00e9s la seva completa bibliografia. Reprenent el qu\u00e8 d\u00e8iem al principi, aqu\u00ed hi ha teca per una quants mesos de lectures. I encara s\u2019hi podria afegir un nou llibre, molt recent, del mateix autor amb un t\u00edtol prou suggestiu: En roue libre. <\/em>Une antropologie sentimentale du v\u00e9lo<\/em>.
